The ego keeps its sense of autonomy through self deception and is one of the most the most pervasive means used by the ego to deny Divinity and thus delay/deny Spiritual Awakening. This is a means by which the ego maintains the experience of separation and loss. This denial of truth is a form of self-torture. It is chosen experience yet we can cease to choose it. Jesus, the symbol of Divine Light within, tells us we have all the power needed to no longer accept this play of suffering in our holy mind. By looking directly at how much the ego relishes the experience of self deception and delusion, we see the truth, that the experience of self deception is desired experience, and we can cease to desire the experience by changing our minds that it is a valuable experience-to admit it is no longer valuable to deny Love with this desire to deny heaven.
Jesus, do I have the power to say no to this? Yes! See how much happiness comes from seeing that this does not have to be tolerated for another minute!
